Raking the leaves

It was 70 degrees out today here in Liberty, Missouri, so we went out to play in the leaves and my girl raked them into a pile so I was able to do what I do.

Raking leaves ... *looks out to lawn* ... don't remind me. And we are far from getting 70F! My-o-my. If we get half of that, we're lucky. And it is wet, and so are the leaves. And my little helper ... is neither here (school!), nor as cute (any longer), nor as much a HELP (anyway - raking leaves, as a TEENAGER??? Much BENEATH them!!!)

I like the last best. She communicates with us. She looks. Though I do appreciate she has more catchlights in the second, I still like the fact that she's taken up communication with you/ the camera/ consequently us, the viewers.
