in the first pic with the flowers, i'd have shot for more of the objects to be in focus. at least the ring of flowers. The shot is center focused but the only thing in focus then is the bark... which is sort of empty w/o the unfocused flowers around it.
the dragonfly, the dragonfly itself looks soft, but then the leaf isn't that sharp either, so i'm not sure what's in focus here. i think some fill flash perhaps might have filled in some color/details on the dragonfly wings and perhaps the dragonfly's face? I like the composition though and i like how the shadow shows through on the leaf.
The 3rd picture is interesting, but again, the only thing in focus seems to be a single bottle that isn't all that interesting by itself. Even then, the vertical seperating window pane thing is more in focus then any of the bottles. I also might consider rotating the shot a bit to get the vertical line more vertical? the diagnol line is ok if it's seperating things in the image, but there's dead space to the left and nothing for me to really look at.
4th foto is quite nice! from the composition (seems to tell a small story of somebody reading at night, but got tired and went to bed? this is the morning aftermath? where glasses are left whereever and an oil lamp now out) etc. the sepia adds a nice touch too. the only critique i have for this image is to rotate clockwise a bit so that the lamp is straight up and down instead of cocked to one side.
keep trying

good ideas!
