random question - how do yo pass time between gigs

So you got a gig or two in a town that you don't really know. You get there early to make sure your not late but got time to kill. What do you normally do? go shopping, find the nearest library to take it easy, walk around walmart and take pictures of strange looking people for that people of walmart website?

I was just thinking that what happens if I get a senior portrait an hour from here, and then to make the travel time worth while, I would try to get a 2nd appointment in the same town since I'm already there, but I would want to schedule them apart far enough so I don't have to rush the first one. I was trying to think of things I would do to pass the time.

I don't drink so bars are out, and I'm usually to cheap to go to a real restaurant. Or even a fast food place. But that could be a topic for a new thread.
