Ranger Lenses

Hi,

Does anyone have information on Ranger lenses? My neighbor gave me a bag of old camera equipment that included this lens. I can't find any information on the net about this brand.

Ranger makes one heck of a bass boat!!!!!

Seriously though, this is an OEM'd product, made by some nameless, faceless company and the "brand" threaded on on a ring at the front...this was probably sold by 20 different retailers under 20 different names. it threads on and reduces focal length of the lens it's attached to.

Thanks for letting me know. I suspect every lens/camera gifted to me in this bag was manufactured before my birth.
