It does look like marble.
Or possibly frost on some sort of glass or metal surface.

Whatever it is, it's beautiful and well done! This would make a nice metal print!

I like it. As for what it is... Who cares? We can make it into anything we want. And project onto it anything we can dream (or fear). Which makes it kinda open-ended. So yes, I like it .

Saw that in an episode of Dr. Who. But I'll go with mineral deposits of some type leaching out of the cracks in a weathered material like a wall.
