RAW programs crashing

I think I've angered the RAW gods. I have a computer with Windows XP and service pack 2. The computer has a 1ghz amd processor, 200gig harddrive, and 512mb or ram. So far I've installed Adobe Lightroom, Rawshooter essentials, Bibble Lite. All crash before starting up.

Windows gives me the "software name name has encountered a problem and needs to close".

Other programs work fine, including The Gimp.

Any ideas?

Oh, wow.

I've downloaded Lightroom B3 but haven't installed it yet. I use The Gimp. I think I'll wait until I really need the Lightroom program and install it on one of my 'puters which doesn't have The Gimp installed. I suspect that there's an interference problem here.

I have both Gimp and Lightroom installed on my computer without any issues.
