Thanks for looking at a thread with an actual photograph in it. I know these are rare.

It almost looks like two different children on either side of the photo, the light vs the dark.

She likes cheetos bitter. If I ever print this one, they will be removed. p!nK

Really? That is all? Lip crumbs and a bipolar face? In my best newbie voice..... "must be perfect". p!nK

I find cropping both the head and the chin a bit too much. For my taste I wouldn't have an issue with the top of the head being cropped, but not the chin.

Was the crop made in camera, or after the fact? If after, you might consider a square format which will accent the face and eyes.

A bit too tightly framed to the right/below for me, but i do like it.

I don't mind the horizontal framing that much although I think if the tip of the ear was in would be better. I would also dodge her hair on the left. Most noticeably is her bang that is black as opposed to the fairness of the right side. If you are going to crop the top of the head I think you need to leave the chin intact in frame. Visually more pleasing.

Too much contrast between right & left for my taste & I do not like the chopped off top & ear.

Sweet little face.

WOW, you all need to get off your high horses....:lol::lol:

Yeah, the crop was in camera- when shooting with a 50mm prime and a two year old, you get what you get. Sometimes I feel like I am lucky just to get her in frame, let alone the correct composition.

I tried dodging the hair, looks dodged to me. I am not the best at that so it is something to work on I guess.

Here is my first final edit....

Perhaps your 17-55 would be a better choice for such shoots.

Thanks Captain Obvious.
