rc1 and canon 5d

so is there a way to get the rc1 (wireless remote) to work on the canon 5d some sort of adapter i can plug in that reads the wireless signal?

For whatever reason, Canon only built the wireless technology into the Rebel models.

Just get something like THIS.

An expensive alternative is a couple Pocket Wizards and a $100 cable. I assume there is a Canon compatible cable, they do have one for Nikon. Not cheap, but it works, and has great range.
