re chip sigma for canon

Hi all

Thank you for help.

My problem is that I have old sigma lens 70-210 2.8 for canon but there is error 99 if I close aperture for any step. Is working well on 2.8 only.

I know that the lens need re chipping but I do not know who can do it or how to do it by salve.

Sigma - give your sigma company department an email or a phone call for your country and ask them. Give them the full lens details (make, model name etc..) and they should be able to tell you if they can or can't. If they can't then you'll have to phone around a few photography repair shops to ask them, often when Sigma drops an old lens for rechipping other companies buy up the old rechipping stock and take over (its not profitable for Sigma to keep doing but it is for independents).
