Reading EXIF info on Flickr vs PSE11

Wasn't really sure what forum for this question...

When I look at the Metadata in PSE11 for my photo it shows Exposure Mode: Manual (which is correct), when I view the EXIF data for that same photo on Flickr it shows Exposure Mode: Auto. I sometimes look at the EXIF of Flickr photos that I like to see what settings and equipment the photographer used to get the shot. Is this a waste of time because Flickr doesn't carry over the correct info?

I don't have that issue, my EXIF on Flickr is correct, and this is the first time I checked in 7 years of posting on Flickr.
The real question is.. who cares?

Most shots are edited to such an extent that getting the same
image will be rather hard.

Mines correct on Flickr as well. Maybe it doesn't work well with PSE11.

I've never checked in my pse11

Can you attach an example and a link to the Flickr copy?
