I guess the question is.... did you add the color lips to a black & white picture, or did you make a color picture black & white minus the lips?

It was a colored photograph. I clicked Quick Selection. Highlited the red lips. Then I pressed inverse. Then 'remove color' (background).

Um, I'm really not trying to be rude, but I think you will find that that won't amaze most people, at least here.

Unless you were being sarcastic.... ?

your right, i think its hideous, out of focus, the selective coloring did not work at all in this and the colored area doesnt even look neat, its overlapping over the lips

That photo will haunt me for the rest of my life.

uhm... are you serious???

Just a FYI, it's not just Elements that can do this. It can be done in Photoshop, Lightroom, plus I'm sure a LOT of other software.

Just a heads up guys...this is obviously a joke, or someone being sarcastic...

Man people on this forum are rude!

...or perhaps it's somebody who is new to all of this, and is truly amazed.

Just sayin'

LOL I doubt it...I mean, I've seen some pretty...uh...well, slow and/or ignorant people, and I don't think any of them would find that amazing. Personally, when I first saw the original post, I thought it was hilarious. :lmao:
