C&C per req:

1. I would like to have seen her turned a bit more toward the camera; I like the pose, but the lighting doesn't work for me. All the attention is drawn toward her butt and the back of her arm because that's where the brightest areas are. Key should have been camera left vice right IMO. Also watch your cropping; the amputated hand is NOT a good look.

2. Again, I like the idea here; I think your key light should have been a gridded light up and right to provide some hairlight and a bit of facial detail. I would like to see a LOT less light in the background, and watch the crops again. Nice smile!

3. Grey skin? Yuck! Her hair is lost in the darkness at the bottom of the image, and there is NO time when we need to see into a person's nose! The position of her hands makes this look... rude for lack of a better term, rather than soft and coquettish as one would expect in boudoire work.

4. Again, the background really kills this one, especially the crack of light from the open door abover her shoulder. I think a much closer composition on her face and hand with the strawberry close, but NOT in her mouth might have been a way to go.

5. NOT fond of this one; shadows, processing and skin tone really just make this one look unattractive.

Overall, they`re not a bad set at all. I think with some more careful planning and attention to your lighting, you could do a really great shoot with this model.

Just my $00.02 worth - your mileage may vary.

That is an ass!

Makeup artist needs to apply FAR less lipstick to her lower lip...it looks clownish. Eyebrows might benefit from a more subtle look as well. Sharpie® Chisel Tip Permanent Marker, Black, Each | Staples®

I agree, the gray skin look on the desaturated/selective color shot is kind of ugg-inducing, but I DO LIKE the shot otherwise.

On #1, the reds look way over-saturated, and you cropped her off right at the wrist, which looks bad; same thing with the shot of her eating the strawberry--you cropped her off at the means of support, so the pose is what is called "incomplete". Many times, a pose demands that certain parts of the body be shown...like in #1, the hand! Cropping her off right there just kills the shot.

My suggestion: shoot looser, so you have some room to crop-in, and not loose the feet or hands, or whatever.

She is a cute lady!!! Definitely one for a second and third shoot!

Thank you guys, and not making excuses but the hotel room wasn't the biggest and I used one light camera left. In last 4 shots it was pointed up and towards the wall behind me. Also no headboard with the bed just a very large mirror so i had to try and not be in the shots, not have my large soft box in the shot along with other things in the room. But I am definitely going to work with her again and yes she does have an amazing smile. Again thank you guys. Always a help.

Love number 2. Seems to capture a lot of her personality. Nothing sexier than personality!
