I haven't on in a while so I thought I would post a couple of recent photo shoots that I've done. Please let me know what you think.

These are nice but I'm not sure I like the backdrop. I only say that because they remind me of "school photos". I think another backdrop would really make this photos stand out.

I think the backdrop itself is fine, you probably need a stronger back light though and it is really more for formal shots.

A couple of them seem appropriate for it.

The color, skin tone, sharpness, and focus are all excellent. Technically, you didn't miss a beat. However, I think the poses looked strained and not very natural IMO.

I agree. #3 is somewhat relaxed, but the others...hmmm. Other than that, great work:thumbup:

I'd go with the 6....that looks good portrait to me

I really like 4 and 6. Since I know they are posed, I don't mind since they look comfortable. I also tend to like the more serious, less 'smile!!!' look. 4 is actually very good! I love it. The girl looks just like a doll baby and I like how her green eyes pop. Great sharpness, right down to the last adorable freckle. I also like 6, but it would have been nice to give her a some brighter catchlights so her eyes have a little more sparkle. She looks a might bored. I do like the pose and expression though.

The rest seem like the kids are uncomfortable, especially 1 and 7.

But the lighting is very nice and very sharp. So just work on your posing and you'll have great photos!
