I'm looking for a good recommendation on a Nikon Fisheye lens.

Thats easy.

Nikon originals > any alternative from anybody ever.

Prefer under $500.

Well ... that might be a bit tight for a Nikon original, even used.

It should be enough for the AF 10.5mm f2.8 G DX Fisheye, though. That lens is a 220 degree Fisheye, thats almost circular on full frame. But since its cheaper than the full frame ones and almost a circular Fisheye, it was my choice.

For a D750 DSLR but maybe also compatible with the Z series too

A lens cannot support two different mounts, EVER. You'll have to get an adapter.

I'm taking more pictures of fishes so might as well get a lens suited for that. Ha !!

For that it would be a very poor choice, because fishes like all wild animals keep their distance and Fisheye lenses are extreme wide angle lenses.

Might work with an aquarium, but thats less than optimal for other reasons.

What you want for fishes is really a normal zoom that fits with the camera into a watertight container that still allows to operate the camera.
