Recommend other software besides PSP?

Hey guys. I use Canon DPP for most of my photos for a quick touch up but I also have Corel paintshop pro 2018 deluxe and aftershot pro 3 that I use as well. I'm thinking about purchasing Lightroom 6 instead of doing the creative cloud account, but I was wondering if there was something similar to Lightroom that may be cheaper or holds future upgrades (Lightroom 6 will not be supported or upgradable after this year). Any recommendations?

Did you register for the free software providing your e-mail address? You should have gotten an e-mail with the download link and a license code. In the e-mail, just click on the appropriate download button (windows or Mac) and download, you will eventually have to enter the license code.

I did. They provide the key code which has "gift" in the middle of it.
