thanks a bunch, yeah i had to wait for the snow to clear last night, then got out this morning hopeful that the tree wasn't buried lol

I think it looks good. I like how the background is faded out. (Then again I am no expert,so someone else might see something I don't. )

I like the overall idea, it's a nice picture.
The only thing I do not like about it, is the bright background on the left side, it distracts me a little.

not really. it's a bit blown there TBH. i just tried a layer mask and some toned-down levels but it's the shapes as much as the highlights.
