Red Fox

This Red Fox came onto the porch of our Cabin in Colorado. It then lied in wait in the grass until we threw it some more food. Just about took this guy home.

Wow! Not only do I like the picture but thats kinda crazy that it was that comfortable around people.

Maybe it's a former "pet" of some house or cabin whose owners vacated their property??? Seems like maybe it is accustomed to being fed, like a pet is. Foxes are intelligent creatures...people and houses generate "free food" pretty much every day...why some of the houses even have big tin or plastic barrels out back, FULL of food scraps and stuff!!!

Red foxes = most beautiful mammals on earth. I'm envious of this shot :thumbup:

It was awesome to have this little guy and its friend hang out at the house, and of course we had to give them some food...who could say no to a face like that?
