Red Shouldered Hawk - Everglades National Park

Found this guy by accident. Our day in the park was pretty much over, and we were driving around, checking out the camp site in the Flamingo area of Everglades National Park. All of a sudden the wife says "stop the the car!".

There he was, on the ground about 10 feet from my car, working on something he had found in the ground for dinner.

Nice Job! I had a Red Tail at the same distance and angle a few months ago! It is so awesome to be so close isn't it?

The framing looks good, but something about the color and light of these doesn't look right. The shadows tell my brain "bright, sunny day", but they're muted and too dark for that, so they're crashing in my brain too hard for me to appreciate them. Are you editing with a calibrated monitor?

No just my regular old laptop. Yes I noticed after I posted them they are too dark. Will work on that. Thanks.
