Nice series.. It's a shame there was no light on his face in #1. I like the carcass in flight shot. #3 is quite nice as well...

I know that light was almost like a spot light I had to time certain spots he would fly through were the light was shining. I got within 2 ft with him I even took a phone picture of him haha. He would hangout on the log I was sitting on really awesome. It's the exact same red tail as the picture I took of him eating the squirrel same area and same pattern on his wing indont normally see on red tails. I took around 400 pics of him today. He's almost like my personal hawk haha follows me around. Maybe because I scare his dinner out of the bush haha. Thanks guys.

Im going to see if I can light the face up maybe when I buy LR back since I'm using aperature and it's meh. I also made one in black and white that's looks good.

Very nice flight shot w/ the carcass. The others don't do much for me...

Very nice shots. If the first one is cropped at all, see if you can re-crop it and get the wing tips in the frame. I like tight crops personally, but the wing tips would add to it in this case. I also go for the second BIF with the carcase, nice shot.

Thanks guys thing about the cropping I kinda had to I missed on the bottom wing the Hawk was way to close. maybe 6-7 ft so the bottom portion you dont see is what I missed unfoprtunately
