I like this a lot! The contrast here is wonderful! Very appealing to the eye.

I like this one much better. It looks much more finished than the last one. Nice work.

Thank you! It is truer to the flower I shot. I appreciate your comments! :)

When I first saw this, I thought "no, I liked the first one better." Then I went and looked at the first one again.

I like this one better. :D

It's going to be a cool series, when they're all together!

I appreciate it, Sharon! Having fun with it. Now I just need to find some beautiful and unusual flowers to finish this up with.... something more like the poppy. Hmmm.. maybe some orchids.. lol! :)

How many are you doing? You've got two red flowers and one yellow (unless I've missed any). If you're only doing four, maybe another yellow flower for balance. But if you're doing more than that, it'd be nice to get some purple/blues in there. A passionflower? I'm about to go take some photos of one of those myself--I hope. If they're still there and still pretty!
An orchid woudl be good too, though. Or maybe a coneflower. Or a dahlia.

All good suggestions! I may keep doing this.. until I run out of flowers I like! lol! I might even do some sets.. 3 different orchids, for instance. The hardest thing is finding good subjects! It has been so hot here, that many outdoor flowers are cooked... even at the local Botanical Gardens. I may end up doing some special orders of some stuff... see what I can find. Any other suggestions are welcome!

I think it look's much better more of a warm feeling nice job!

Thank you! I started to go with more of a cornflower blue on the original shot.. but didn't! (Note to self.. go with first hunch.. don't second guess!) lol!

Nice.

You know, you are making these images so perfect they don't even look real. lol. Almost like toys.
