I liked the original color, but the new crop. The enhanced color is too dreamy. the original color is raw and natural.
It all began with a good picture, though. Good job!

I do quite like the the re edit however as already mentioned the greens look a bit over cooked. Kinda like the side of vegetables I was served at dinner this evening but that is besides the point . Anyway, have you tried using curves to adjust color? It works great just click the channel drop down bar in curves and choose the color you wish to adjust. Its really great for fine tuning color. I find it works much better than using hue / saturation or color balance.

Overall I quite like the composition. I agree with the reeds but only find them to be slightly distracting. Great work overall.

I like the original, the foreground vegetation is good and could be made great if there was something in the mid. A boat, some geese or the Loch Ness Monster, it needs something there.
