This little flower was growing out of a fallen tree stump along the Greenway...

I've always enjoyed this photo. It was made in the middle of the day, no leaves on the trees - not much color....I'm not sure why I like it so much...

nice shots, gates, that first one is fun, i love how life always finds a way... flower growing out of cracks in rocks or in this case a tree trunk! i see why you like the second, it may not necessarily have a wow factor, but it is very pleasing to the eye, with a nice composition and it appears very crisp. i love the big boulders... :thumbup

Good shots, the first is another example of "Life finds a way", the second just simply looks like peaceful serenity.
