Refurbished Bodies

Was winning bidder of Nikon refurbished d40 body.
Have seen posts where some of you have refurbished
camera bodies.
Any experiences?
Has one year guarranty from Nikon.
Hoping to involve my wife in photography
and share lenses.

I have a Canon 30D refurbished with no problems..some have said they mite prefer this way rather than a brand new
