[The Losing Kind]

I have a really extensive collection of bones (mostly skulls). There's something beautiful to me about the simplicity of bones.

#1 Unknown vertebra

#2 Racoon Skull

#3 Unknown bone from (possibly) a marine animal

This was kind of an experiment with single source lighting as well as photoshop. I guess what I was going for was a soft, quiet feeling to these photographs. So these are all edited (obviously, haha!), and I'm pretty happy with the results.

How about you? Interesting at all? Or am I just a crazy, bone-loving girl, and this is all just boring as sin?

Thank you! I was worried that the lighting might be too dramatic... then again, I meant it to be dramatic, so it's good to hear that someone else likes the lighting
