Ah, I did but apparently I read it in a totally different way, as in "there was no alteration in the appearance of the device or in the sound of the dial tone." Oops! Hey what can I say, I'd been teaching all day and hadn't had dinner yet

They were around when I was a kid, When I was about 8 years old we were playing with one, and my friend dialed 911 he didn't know that worked if you didn't have money in it. He hung up when they answered, they called back about the time my mom came out of the store, and she answered it. We all got in trouble!
