'way too much darkness in the lower right corner, and it might have been better with a slightly less aggressive angle, because the panes with the lions and the fleurs-de-lys show some promise. I'd call this one a pop fly. Can't hit home runs every time.

Good points. I liked the colors and the other angles seemed too boring... but then... I was just taking a picture of a stupid light fixture.

See, that's the problem. You need to shoot smart light fixtures. Like those in the Harvard Library, are guaranteed to be 30% intellectually brighter than in lesser establishments. Because they won't even consider the application unless the light has 4.0 GPA going back to pre-school, plus at least thirty glowing references from established luminaries.
