Rest of this roll is being dumped

Here are a few shot from the hunt my partner should not have gone on, the film is about 25 years out of date and about had it, Tmax 100 shot at 400 and 1 hour stand developed in Rodinal

Then i caught her doing this, but she went over some much bigger jumps down in the valley, this will be the last one until her op after having to have 4 sprays under her tongue

Nice, nice. Rodinal blown a bit the highlights despite the 2 stop underexposure (or it is my monitor). But not by much.

It can't be rodinal's fault the highlights are blown. It was stand development: the whole point is to reduce contrast, so it's pretty much the least likely possible developing choice to blow highlights. Thus, if highlights are blown anyway, then it was either a little too overexposed to begin with for rodinal to save it, or too much Rodinal was used for the film surface area, or that's something that happened in post processing.

Or perhaps old film gets more contrasty, to the point where it can't be lowered enough even with stand development (I don't know anything about how old film behaves, never used anything more than a few months out of date).


Anyway, I don't think it's a problem, and dont know why you think these are bad / would want to dump the rest of the roll, OP... The first one is too shadow-blocked, but the others look awesome. Or did you simply mean that the other photos on the roll weren't good compositions or were blurry, etc?

TMax has highlights that go on forever. Maybe sufficiently old TMax doesn't, I dunno, but I am going to assume the scan or something post-scan botched them.

These are from a 100 foot roll and there is about 3 rolls worth left
