RIP Miss Priss

These are old pics...but I had to post them.
Miss Priss is a bearded dragon, and was my first pet reptile. She's been with me for 10 years. She passed away sometime during the night of old age. Her body just couldn't keep up with her anymore. She was my baby, and I loved her to death. I hope to one day see her again. Rest in peace, baby girl...you'll always have a place in my heart.

This next picture wasn't taken by me, but it's me with my baby girl:

She was nothing but beautiful and everyone instantly fell in love with her when they met her. She is a legend here, and I'll miss her greatly. Rest in peace, Missy Prissy, we love you.

Awww, the loss of a beloved pet is always difficult. Thanks for sharing these pics of her. [The ones of her open-mouthed, and on the towel, really brought a smile to my face.]

Sorry to hear that, she looked like a happy & healthy dragon.

I used to have a couple beardies...one of whom hard a rough start (most of his brothers & sisters died)...but I nursed him into good health with weeks/months of hand feeding.

They have both gone on to better homes but I miss them from time to time.

They are great animals, such curious personalities. I have two more right now, one an adult male and the other a little juvie that's missing a back foot because of a cage mate. Miss Priss started my reptile love.

I know some people think that you can't become as attached to a Reptile or a bird as you can a dog or cat but only because they've never had one. I had a Jackson's Chameleon when I was younger and he had all the personality of a dog. He was my constant companion until he died at the age of 6. I feel your pain. RIP Miss Priss.
