Heres a photo I took a couple of days ago of one of our Hueys returning from a mission. I'm currently posted on a 3 month tour with the Royal New Zealand Air Force in East timor as part of the stabilisation force.
Great shot Trev-S but I have to agree that the crop is major on this one. I would love the see the same clarity on a full view of this chopper. Keep up the good work!!!
^^^ I'm curious... how would you guys do it differently? I was thinking the crop might be an issue too, but if you zoomed in to get the detail, it might be even weirder... if you zoomed out far enough to get the wing and the tail, the detail would really be lost. BTW, in general I think the shot is REALLY cool... I love the exhaust for some reason.
I personally love the crop. It draws attention to what is important in the shot. The men, not the machine.
