I shot the skyline of Rochester, NY last night from a vantage point I discovered a few months ago. I'm pretty happy with the results and wanted to share with you guys. This was my first time shooting a city skyline.

Let me know what you think! Any way it could have been improved?

Nikon D500 with 50mm 1.8G and 2 stop ND filter. F/14, iso 100, 120 second exposure.

This is great, but I'm surprised you didn't use your D750? I read they are great for landscapes. I agree the reflections make this photo, love that white stripped building.

Without the DX crop factor I'd have had to use my 70-200 on the D750.

The 500 and 50 1.8 are much lighter and easier to work with on a tripod.

Also not the best area of town, so the less expensive things look the better.
