Rock Family Reunion

Had the privilege of attending the Rock Family Reunion today. Surprisingly there were quite a few attending, considering how slow they move.

I've worked on this one till I've become blinded by the rocks! The tones are so close I just can't seem to get it to look quite right. Any suggestions appreciated.

I played with it for a few minutes, but I'm by no means an expert. I adjusted the exposure -- it was under by at least a stop by my eye, added contrast and clarity, adjusted color to try to make add some separation between the river and the forest, and ran it through a Color Efex PRO filter.

The file was pretty small, so I'm sure you can get a better result with your original RAW file.

Went back to the camera settings, cropped and adjusted exposure slightly. Just about everything at this elevation is covered in green. Any better.
