I guess I missed the point. My understanding of a collage is a large number of photos, usually related, and most often in a rectangular presentation.

You have several nice pictures of hands. But the layout suggests the beginning of a collage.

I was trying to compose the collage to give a visual flow from lower right to upper left and then top left to bottom. Still messing around with this. I'll have to ask the advice of my Art History major daughter but she'll say if you like it it's good.

Thanks for the critique. I need more eyes on this since I'm still feeling my way along.

Like many things in art there is no right or wrong, just a multitude of opinions. So yes, "if you like it, it is good" is a proper answer.

Because we all judge our work differently; your attempt to draw the eye to the from lower right to upper left, may strike some as clever or it may be viewed a simply a hodge podge buy others.

One trick to drawing the eye is a progression. For example a baby with a a basket ball, a youngster watching others shoot hoops, the child's first back yard basket, school, college team play then the NBA . This can be done with almost any endeavor, how about a baby playing with a camera and ending with Ansel Adams.

It helps if the there is a reason to follow the photographic flow.

Thanks for the critique. I went for a second opinion from my daughter and she concurred with your opinion. She labeled this a composite image rather than a collage. Rodin II is (by her dictum) a collage. I'm going to continue working with the composite though. I might be able to make something out of it.
