yeah. I was playing with props. first one I took are without the toys. Then I considered putting a .45 pistol in and darkening it but decided against that route. I actually put the toys in as they conflicted so much with the whiskey and cigarettes on purpose. The chairs I placed to attempt to pull off a meeting of cross roads, or atleast confliction as well. Not sure if I pulled it off but they take up the bottom of the picture for that purpose. The cigarettes are in a game box. I started with something more recognizable for a game, but then decided I didn't want it to be so obvious they were in a game box so found that one which is much more inconspicuous plus adds to the picture I think with the metal clasp on the box and the general design. Sure beats a scrabble box. The crayolas, mimic a pack of cigarettes. which is why I have the crayons pulled out loosely. But without the blandness of the cigarettes they are full of color and immediately draw attention right after the first attention which is of course the cigarettes in the box.
The whiskey glass, I just wasn't sure. I moved that about ten times. I didn't want it to draw immediate attention, but didn't want it to go totally unnoticed either...
It is still up for a retake, im hashing it out in my mind sort of speak.......
It is missing something. OR at least I think more could be done with it. I almost thought of going monochrome but I didn't want to mess up the crayolas and toy colors...
