I love the first three shots. It almost looks like the water rolling over the rocks is smoke... or dry ice. Nice effect! It could even be mistaken for a painting!

i am also drawn to water, it's one of the things i photograph over and over. these are beautiful, especially the first few.

(btw... my dad is also known as "big mike!")

Good series, the second picture on the first post really catches my attention, good effect of the water going over the rocks, looks like a painting.

No, I didn't go on a raft. I just happened to be there when a group of rafts came floating by. There were also a bunch of kayaks coming & going but I didn't get any shots of them.

I have been on a white water rafting trip and I recommend it, it's great fun.

I still can't forgive you for this thread title, Mike......if I never hear "Proud Mary" again it will be fine by me.

That's part of why we quit shooting weddings, to get away from bands that played "Proud Mary".
