Roses from the Botanical Garden

The file is too big to be posted here, but I wanted to know what you guys think of my photo: ABG60 | Flickr - Photo Sharing!. This was taken at Atlanta's Botanical Garden with my Nikon D3100, and I used my 35mm lens with the settings at ISO 400 and a shutter speed of 1/50 with the flash on. I like working with light and color and I try to capture both as much as possible when I take pictures, so I hope I did so here.

Colour and contrast seems ok, but for this kind of thing you really need to get closeup to reveal the details of individual flowers. It is possible to post flickr links to your posts, just need to copy the BB code from the sharing section for each photo, paste that code into your new thread window.

I would heavily agree, on something like that a macro is your best bet. IE: Zooming way in on one flower specifically.

They're nice, just crop them tighter and you would have something
