Rough draft of a product shot C&C

It is still using plastic LOL. What is the difference between left and right? The one on the right is carbonated?

Still using plastic, but it's 100% recyclable. In addition to that, they use empty shipping containers or excess space on vessels leaving Iceland to deliver their water to different markets (which I think is kind of neat). They also measure CO2 emissions regularly and invest money in sustainable resources and energy. They do whatever they can to keep their CO2 emissions down, and they offset the emissions that they create with eco-friendly actions.

Nah dude.. every time you recycle plastic, it will degrade to lower grade plastic. It is not like aluminum or glass where it is "100%" recyclable.

That's why they should make edible plastic.
Just eat it when you're done, then it'll "degrade" naturally in your stomach.

Then on to the sewers! :lmao:

nalgene bottle + tap water FTW!

We can ****ing make plastic out of plants. Like corn and ****. Plastic packaging that's actually compostable. That's what more companies should be doing.

Thanks for the advice! Glad someone got the empty / full thing... you get a cookie!

I plan on re shooting this but this timeIi wont back light it and I won't use glass to add reflections.

I actually know a person (there a bio chemist or something) who is working on making a plastic that would actually be made out of corn and ****. Its pretty cool stuff. But it will probably be like the bio degradable sun chips bag; it is a bit louder so people won't like them.

Getting back to your image...I am not an expert on lighting, but I wonder if that is the key to get the point across that one bottle is empty. Also, I was thinking on why I missed the concept. I think I didn't relate the sand and the soil because they are two different things. Grass doesn't grow in sand. I mean I looked at both materials and tried to make a connection, and couldn't. Perhaps I am too logical? I probably would have gotten the concept if it was a clump of dry dirt instead of sand, or more directly, dry turf. Perhaps a backward "L" shape composition with the green grass bottle laying down? But that wouldn't be good for a print ad, I guess. Just my thought's. Do with them as you wish.

Yeah I knew this is a completely different direction than you started with, but kind of taking off from Bitter's thoughts, I think it would be neat to see the two bottles on the same surface, one full, one empty, but with the empty one laying down and missing its cap, and have all the grass growing where the water would have "spilled" and have it dry and cracked everywhere else. Heh easier to describe than to pull off I suppose.

But as far as your original goes, I didn't catch the full/empty thing until it was pointed out either. I did notice that there was something different about the two bottles but I couldn't put my finger on it. I agree with Bitter that the sand and soil/grass are too different to make a connection.

You could try moving in some black reflectors on either side of the bottles, just out of frame, to try and give their edges a bit more definition.

Thanks! I really like what Brian was thinking! :re-shoot:
