Got my first ND filter ever (Polaroid variable) so I decided to test it out.

First impressions: it is very grey - not sure if this is because of the filter or not. As well, there appears to be a vignette in the corners that does not add to the image - again, I am not sure if this is a result of the filter or not. I do think the composition is reasonably good, foreground subject with lines that takes the viewer's eye into the centre of the image and then carries it to the buildings in the background. My 0.02¢ FWIW.

I like it...kinda a dark feeling. Going to get a ND filter soon, and give it a try.

There is almost no color info in the image.....I changed it some and thought this crop would be more interesting.

Good shot! Can you post your EXIF? Was this taken at sunset or during bright daylight?
