Just joined today and just shot these yesterday so I thought I'd post them. Keep in mind this was my first try at sports photography - I chose these two to put on my website because they do not really show the empty stands in the background (it was an academy game). I just thought the empty stands made them look unprofessional. I'm going to have a chance this coming weekend to shoot a rugby match with a big crowd in the background so hopefully I don't blow it, lol.

So anyway, what do you think - good for a first try or do I have a long way to go?

I agree with Olexa, great action shots. The look in the guys face in the first pic is priceless, and I think sums up rugby more than any book can :lmao:
