I've had my Samsung for a long time and I've loved it. I haven't looked at cameras since I bought this one. Unfortunately, I fell while at Gettysburg Military Park and damaged the camera. Now, Prescison Camera tells me it's beyond repair.

I haven't a clue as to what to buy to replace the Samsung. I wish I could buy the exact same camera new again. However technological advancements over the last 10 years surely have spawned some better cameras.

I'm looking for suggestions from those with not only knowledge of the Samsung Pro 815, but also of the latest from Samsung and the other manufacturers.

A good camera camera is the Panasonic FZ1000. A very fast and versatile bridge.
It has an excellent 20mp 1" sensor, a 16x Leica zoomlens (25-400mm eq; F2.8-F4).
Can make 4K video and has lots of other features.
I enjoy this camera very much.

budget would be a good help in pointing your search in the best direction

I looked up this camera and boy it was the real cream of the crop when it came out.

There are lots of nice bridge cameras around now, price would help, but if you like it that much you may get one on eBay or similar

Amazon has your original camera used for $300

For $300 I think I would explore my options too
