Sand Serpent

These are metal sculptures in the desert in Borrego Springs in So. California.
I intentionally over saturated a couple of these to enhance the effect.
All are 3 photo HDR processed in Photomatix and Tone Mapped.

I remember seeing the horses and the mammoths and dinosaurs, but this serpent must be new!

I used to go out there all the time. Definitely VERY different!

Steve, this is within the last year I think. They keep adding to the collection as it has become a draw for the area bringing in people.
I myself just love the desert now. I never used to go out but in the last 5 years I go out often.
