Yes ladies and gentlemen it is yet another SUNRISE! Please provide feedback as you see fit. All were taken with Canon T4i w/ 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS II. I made them a bit underexposed on purpose and I like my outcome but I would like C&C and get opinions. Thanks!

I think the first 2, like you said are under-exposed on purpose, and that certainly can be appealing. I think that is done so often, that it needs to be REALLY good to impress a lot of people. That being said, I would much rather look at those than the baby with a big bow pics.

I like the lines on 3, I think I would LOVE that pic maybe 15-20 EALIER when the sun was down more, so it wasnt blinding. Looks like there might have been some nice orange colors with some nice clouds.

I agree the sunrise thing has been done over and over again to death but it gives me good practice for composition, exposure and what not. Since this was a sunrise I actually missed it however I am going back out to that location again in the morning and will try to get what you are looking for. Thanks for the quick response. It is very difficult lately to get good feedback. Thanks!

Cool, yeah I'd go back a little earlier and hopefully you get lucky with the clouds. With the sun JUST about to come up you wont get those green and purple lens flares.

I've been to sandbridge!!! I was a total newb in photography then, I wish I would have at least attempted to take pictures there! I actually live in Virginia though so perhaps I'll be able to go back sometime. I like the shots too

Many, many memories, and ummm. .. well, "adult fun time memories" on that beach. . . long before all the condos/timeshares went up at the South End.

I like #3 out of the lot, the others are just way underexposed, as already noted.

These ruined a lot of what is Sandbridge for me

DGM, I've noticed that you are in Richmond. Completely worth it to go back during the summer for some beach action then of course you can take pictures as well and there is a wildlife refuge just a 1/2 mile down the beach too. My grammar is really choppy right now for some reason but oh well.

TATTRAT, it is still a beautiful beach that is untouched by the whore that is the OCEANFRONT! However I think that the oceanfront will provide me with some interesting shots this summer.
