Sandia Crest in the morning

I live in the foot hills of the Sandia Mountains.
On the way in this am (4-1-2019) I snapped a few pictures of the clouds and the crest.
We were 26 degrees F this am and snow yesterday.
Expected high of 52F this afternoon.

I was just there last week! Well, at the top of the Sandias for a couple of hours anyway. We were staying on Santa Fe and then 2 nights in Taos. Perhaps a meet-up with you and @johngpt would be in order the next time we make it out west

Good chance. I work banker's hours so a weekend jaunt would be in order.


I hope you loved Taos and the People's Republic of Santa Fe.

I know a few places and moreover the right direction to shoot some really good images.

Depends on what and where you like to shoot.

Especially ruins, old adobe, trails, interesting places, etc.
