The problem being that it's a UHS-II card, and most cameras only support UHS-I, which I believe has a top speed of 104 mps. Basically from the research I've done it doesn't look like this card would give you much of a speed bonus over a cheaper 95 mps card because the camera's card slot in most cases only support UHS-I. On the upside though odds are good the prices on the 95 mps cards will drop as a result.. so I can be happy with that I guess.. lol.

I'll have to do a little more reading to be certain, but it looks like that is most likely the case at least for now.

Good point That I overlooked. The MSRP on the 64GB is nuts.

Lol.. true, but on the upside hopefully the 64 gb / 95 mbps versions will come down in price a bit, I have one but I'd love to get another to have on hand.
