so I really want to get serious with my photography. Now I'm going for photos like grad, prom and just portraits. What r ur guys recommendations. Also any online videos about single strobe use.

Apparently not serious enough to visit amazon.com for books and youtube.com for videos, on your own hook.

If you're not a self-starter, your learning curve could well be flat and lengthy.

Nevermind, I answered my own question.

Omg I don't care about making a business. I don't care about degrees. I learned everything I know off youtube.

No the reason i ask is that i read a thread one here one time that alot of the books on amazon were kinda dumb. I just wanted opinions from you guys so i dont make any mistakes buying the wrong books. I also have looked watched youtube for alot of strobe lighting videos but none have come out lately. Alot of the single strobe setups are indoor and alot and most of the outdoor ones are ads
