My ladyfriend and I determined that since there was a massive heatwave (45 degrees, despite 2 feet of snow on the ground still) that we should go out and take some photos. We went to an area in a neighboring town that has some open coastline and a path down it. The path was actually walkable which was surprising. A lot of people take their dogs down there to defecate and urinate, so we had to dodge the less pure areas of the snow.
Anyways, the waves were pretty harsh. So I tried using Tv mode for once and did a long exposure (for being handheld and fully zoomed in). I didn't have a tripod, so the rocks lack a little sharpness, but I liked the formation of the rocks and the way that the water traveled through them. I plan on going back and taking another exposure when the weather is more permissive and less windy.
1/10s, f/22 @ 135mm, ISO 50, handheld (IS was on, but I'm not sure if it helped or hurt me)
