Selective Color.

Most photographers don't like selective color.

I think the strongest photo out of this set is the cat. However it is under exposed a bit so you should adjust it. Your basically using the rule of thirds, there is a clear focal point which is the cats eyes and they are close the left bottom third of the shot, the background is soft to help keep focus on the subject matter, and even the lines on the floor from the tiles draws your eye to the cat. The refrigerator in the background is a little distracting. The second one of the dog is cute too. The others just don't have subject matter that catches the attention, or they don't really tell a story. Good practice though, keep it up.

Selective coloring was most definitely a waste of time. Not dramatic enough to notice you even went that route.
