DOes using a tripod with a times count as a selfportrait or as a normal photo similar to a long exposure photo?

Lol kinda makes perfect sence. Was thinking a self portrait is those of urself holding a camera when you can still see a part of your arm that holds the cam in the frame

Wikipedia's definiton of self portrait - A self-portrait is a representation of an artist, drawn, painted, photographed, or sculpted by the artist.
