Can others edit my Photos
Photos NOT OK to edit
Hi, i have come in search of advice. I do photography as a hobby and never tried or expected to make money etc. recently I have been approached regarding selling the rights to some photos. I think the person concerned owns a post card/greeting card company and the photos are here:

Mumbles snow weekend Dec 2010 - a set on Flickr

They are quite unique because we rarely get snow and last year we had a huge (for us) amount. I have the raw images as well.

I have absolutely no idea how to proceeed and relative value etc.

Any guidance would be much appreciated.

Regards

Many commercial photographers here in the US use Use License pricing software like fotoQuote Pro, because price varies by use licensing terms, and geographic area.

For instance, exclusive use costs considerably more than non-exclusive use. The length of time the use license is valid for affects the price, as does the geographical area of the use. Usage just in the UK would cost less than usage worldwide.

For postcards/greeting cards the larger the size the photos will be used at and the quantity of the print run affect the price.
