Is it as sad as ASSUMING someone who owns a business should know how to use Flickr?

Is Flickr really that hard to use? I mean, come on - all you have to do is click on stuff... What's hard about that?

And yes, I think it would be fair to assume that somebody who is apparently bright enough to run their own business should be able to figure out something as simple as Flickr...

This went downhill quick.

Ok, so i have a boss who isnt the brightest crayon in the box.

I think this is when the thread started the trend towards down hill. The tone can rub people the wrong way....

I know a lot of successful people of various professions including business owners that are not computer savvy. One has little to do with the other.

I tried Flickr and supplied links but she couldn't figure that out. Sad right

Interestingly enough, you are quite quick to bash your boss.... yet when someone gives you a little jab, you take offense?

Aparently you believe that its only acceptable to trash talk someone else behind their back, doing it to their face is unacceptable. No?

Pot... I'd like to introduce you to kettle.

Any way, have you tried sitting down with your boss, or at least walking her through Flickr links over the phone, and actually showing her how to do it?

In my line of work, its pretty important to explain things to my boss if she dosen't quite get it. Its her job to get it, and its my job to explain it to her... that's what we get paid for.

A business owner use someone else time and resources to create money. Regular person has 24 hours to make money (if he/she don't sleep). A business owner could have 24 x N hours where N is the number of employees.

So your it is fine for your boss not to know how to operate a computer as long as someone she employed know how. Just like a restaurant owner do not need to know how to cook. A photography business owner do not need to know how to take a good photos.

The best way to do is walk through the whole process with your boss on how to do it and if possible, create a video with your camera while you showing her how to do it.
