I like the smiles a LOT better, especially when you take into account the purpose of the photo.

These show more artistic flair than many photos. I thought the second shot shown was a good example of a nice standing tall pose, which was terribly hurt by a vertical framing. I'd agree that in the first her legs do not look especially well-shown. You kinda' recovered though on the later "tall" shot with the one foot drawn up to the wall.
